Arizona Access – Fundraising to Save Our Climbing!
Erik Filsinger, AMC’s Land Advocacy Chair, will review the AMC’s access approach and history. He will then discuss the national and regional partners of the AMC, e.g., the Access Fund, the beneficiary of the raffle event. He will overview the local and regional access organizations in Arizona who are working to protect and maintain our great climbing crags. Slides will be presented showcasing the assorted of projects of these fine groups.
After the talk a raffle will be held with the proceeds benefiting the Access Fund and its Arizona projects. When was the last time you bought a rope for $10? 20? Or even $50? To raise funds to support the work of the Access Fund the Arizona Mountaineering Club is holding a raffle. The winner’s raffle ticket will be picked at this member meeting. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10!
Winner need not be present at drawing to win. If, you are not present at the member meeting raffle to claim your prize, Deborah Roether, Program Chair, will arrange a pick-up day/time with the winners. Please plan to claim your prize no later than the AMC Holiday Party, December 8, 2017.
